GEA MODUL tablet presses for highly potent formulations (up to OEB5) are based on the Exchangeable Compression Module (ECM), which contains all the direct product-contact parts and can be removed from the press in a fully contained manner. The ECM is placed on a trolley for contained transportation to a dedicated washing area. Here, it’s washed offline (WOL) or opened and cleaned by operators in PPE (HC)).
